President, Persatuan Hoki Veteran Malaysia Sultan Ahmad Shah (SAS)

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for appointing me President of the of Malaysian Veterans Hockey Sultan Ahmad Shah (SAS). I am very proud indeed to continue a family legacy and to be a part of this association.

The veterans have made the nation proud in Grand Masters Hockey Year 2022 which was held respectively in Nottingham, Cape Town and Tokyo.

I must start by congratulating the Malaysian 60s for winning the bronze medal at Grand Masters tournament in Tokyo.

I would like to further extend my congratulations to the 40s Malaysian team that finished sixth in Nottingham, 45s for coming in fifth, SOs coming in sixth and 55s coming in fifth in Cape Town and to the 65s for the fourth placing in Tokyo.

This success shows the Malaysian teams as well as the veterans have a lot to contribute to the future development of Malaysian hockey.

I hope that the Malaysian Hockey Federation would tap into this pool of experience to further develop our local hockey talent.

I would like to wish my best to the veterans in their future endeavors and tournaments.

His Royal Highness, Your Majesty's Involvement In The Country's Sports
